न्युजिल्याण्डको लेबर पार्टीले आगामी नोभेम्बरमा हुने आम निर्वाचनका लागि आफ्नो उम्मेदवार सूची सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। पार्टीले ७२ जनाको सूचीमा ३० जना नयाँ उम्मेदवार समावेश गरेको जनाएको छ।
पार्टी अध्यक्ष जिल डेले सूचीमा समावेश उम्मेदवारहरूको विविधता र क्षमताप्रति गर्व व्यक्त गर्दै यो सूचीले सम्पूर्ण न्युजिल्याण्डको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्ने बताएकी छन्।
लेबर नेता क्रिस हिप्किन्सले सूची तयार पार्न निकै चुनौतीपूर्ण रहेको उल्लेख गर्दै पार्टीमा व्यवसाय, कृषि, सामुदायिक क्षेत्र तथा सार्वजनिक सेवाबाट आएका अनुभवी व्यक्तिहरू रहेको बताए। उनले आगामी निर्वाचनपछि कम्तीमा १० जना नयाँ सांसद संसदमा प्रवेश गर्ने अपेक्षा रहेको पनि बताए।
