न्युजिल्याण्डमा प्रधानमन्त्री जसिन्डा आर्डेनलाई सबैभन्दा शक्तिशाली मानिन्छ । विश्वमा पनि जसिन्डालाई न्युजिल्याण्डको बोल्ड प्रधानमन्त्रीको रुपमा चिनिन्छ । यो आधारमा पनि वरियताक्रम अनुसार न्युजिल्याण्डकी प्रधानमन्त्री सबै भन्दा अगाडि होलिन् भन्ने धेरैको बुझाई छ । तर जसिन्डा न्युजिल्याण्डको वरियताक्रम अनुसार तेस्रो स्थानमा पर्छिन् । सन् २०१८ मा महारानी एलिजाबेथले न्युजिल्याण्डको वरियताक्रमलाई स्विकृति दिएकी थिईन् । सोही वरियताक्रम अनुसार न्युजिल्याण्डमा सबै भन्दा पहिलो नम्बरमा बेलायतकी महारानी एलिजाबेथ छिन् । उनी न्युजिल्याण्डकी पनि रानी हुन् । त्यस्तै दोस्रो स्थानमा न्युजिल्याण्डकी गभर्नर छिन् । न्युजिल्याण्डकी गभर्नर जनरल सिन्डी किरो जसिन्डा भन्दा एक वरियता माथि छिन् । त्यसपछि मात्र प्रधानमन्त्री आउछिन् । चौथोमा संसदका सभामुख र पाचौँमा प्रधानन्यायधिश छन् । यस्तो छ न्युजिल्याण्डको वरियताक्रम:

House of Representatives, other than Ministers of the Crown
Members of Parliament
Judges of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court of New Zealand

Former Prime Ministers, former Speakers of the House of Representatives, former Chief
Justices, and members of the Privy Council
Mayors of territorial authorities and chairpersons of regional councils, while in their own
cities, districts and regions
The State Services Commissioner, Chief of Defence Force, Commissioner of Police, and
Officers of Parliament (The Controller and Auditor-General, Chief Ombudsman, and the
Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment)
The Solicitor-General, Clerk of the House of Representatives, and Clerk of the Executive
Council when attending a function involving the exercise of the position’s specific
