NZ News Nepal, the first Nepali-language online news portal in New Zealand, has officially registered with the New Zealand Media Council.
Registration with the Media Council is regarded as an important recognition of NZ News Nepal’s credibility, transparency, and commitment to journalistic ethics within the field of Nepali-language journalism in New Zealand. With this registration, the portal will now formally publish its content with a commitment to press freedom, journalistic standards, and fact-based reporting.

The New Zealand Media Council is an independent self-regulatory body responsible for monitoring media activities, enforcing codes of ethics, and providing a forum to resolve complaints about editorial content.
