Nepalese in Auckland observed a mourning for the victims of the nation’s deadliest aviation disaster in home country Nepal, with all 72 people onboard were died in the plane crash on Sunday in Pokhara, Nepal. Nepalese living in Auckland were gathered together to observe a mourning in Aotea Square in Auckland. They were presented with the flowers and lighten up the candle in remembrance of the death victim.
72 people on boarded plane of Yeti Airlines ATR 72 was crashed on Sunday morning near Pokhara International Airport killing all 72 which includes 4 crew members. There were 15 foreigners on board, including five Indians, four Russians, two South Koreans, and one passenger each from Argentina, Australia, France and Ireland, remaining 53 were Nepalese.
Government of Nepal has decided to observe Monday as a national mourning day for this deadliest plane crash with a Public Holiday all over the country .
